DEFINITIONS:

TERM	DEFINITION
DOMINANT	Characteristic will Show Up in the Offspring Even if Only One of the Alleles is Inherited
RECESSIVE	Characteristic will Show Up in the Offspring Only if Both Alleles are Inherited
HOMOZYGOUS	Both Alleles are the Same
HETEROZYGOUS	It has Two Different Alleles
PHENOTYPE	Describes the Physical Characteristics of an Organism with Respect to a Particular Pair of Alleles (the Genotype)
GENOTYPE	Describes the Alleles that a Cell or Organism has for a Particular Feature
CODOMINANCE	Neither Allele is Dominant Over the Other and Both Contribute to the Appearance of the Offspring
